Tennia Crawford is a dedicated Adolescent Dual Diagnosis IOP Therapist at Sandstone Care in Tinley Park. With a robust educational foundation, Tennia holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Health Systems Administration and a Master of Social Work from Indiana University Northwest. She is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), holds a Professional Educators License (PEL), and is certified in IIRP Restorative Practice.
Tennia specializes in a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Her expertise particularly shines in working with urban marginalized communities and addressing the unique challenges faced by BIPOC individuals dealing with trauma.

Tennia is passionate about aiding others in unraveling life’s complexities to achieve their personal and developmental goals.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Tennia is deeply committed to giving back to her community in East Chicago, Indiana. She finds fulfillment in community service, viewing it as an extension of her therapeutic work.
