Robert is a Regional Clinical Director at Sandstone Care. He currently lives in Chicago, IL but is a native of Michigan. Robert holds a full counseling license in Michigan and is licensed in Illinois as an LCPC. His professional career began as a high school biology teacher and varsity track coach. Soon thereafter, Robert became a Licensed Michigan School Counselor and over the next fifteen years, transitioned into working in the clinical arena in almost every level of care. He has worked in outpatient and residential and even worked as a screener for inpatient hospitalization. His true passion lies in working with and specializing in treatment for the LGBTQ+ community. Not only is Robert a proud part of this community but holds counseling credentials to work specifically with these populations. Robert’s motto is “It’s all about the relationships,” and this translates to his work relationships as well as patient care. Robert enjoys teaching and coaching his staff and sharing the many skills and techniques that he has learned in practice over the years. Robert loves living near a lake, enjoys the city views of Chicago, and tries to escape to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, whenever possible.
