Program Director

Renice Wiley-Holmes stands at the helm of Sandstone Care’s Alexandria centers in Virginia as their Program Director, bringing a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to the forefront of addiction and mental health care. With a BA in Psychology and licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), her ten-year journey has woven through individual therapy, inpatient care, and now, program leadership, all aimed at fostering recovery and resilience.

Renice’s therapeutic toolkit includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has honed her skills to particularly support individuals grappling with substance use, severe mental health disorders, and borderline personality disorder, dedicating herself to their path to wellness.

Her professional mantra centers on providing empathy and empowering her clients, aiming to help them connect their past with their emotions and behaviors to forge a path forward. Renice values the transformative impact of understanding one’s own story, a principle that drives her approach to care.
