Monique N. Harper is a dedicated Family Therapist based in Baltimore and Towson, with a rich professional background and a deep commitment to enhancing the well-being of her clients. Monique’s journey in mental health began at the University of Delaware where she earned a B.S. in Human Services, complemented by a minor in Disability Studies. She further advanced her qualifications with a master’s in social work from Rutgers University. Bringing over a decade of experience in various mental health settings, Monique has honed her skills in providing comprehensive support to adolescents, young adults, and families.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Monique employs a variety of therapeutic approaches to best meet her clients’ needs. Her practice is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eco-Systemic Family Therapy (ESFT), ensuring a tailored and effective treatment plan for each individual and family she works with.

Monique is particularly adept at working with young people and their families, helping them navigate the complexities of their relationships and individual challenges. Outside the therapy room, Monique is an active individual with a passion for lifting weights, exploring new places, and giving back to her community through various volunteer activities. Her personal interests in fitness and travel are not only hobbies but also a way for her to maintain balance and well-being, which she emphasizes in her therapeutic practice.
