Karen has twenty-five years of progressive experience in healthcare marketing, business development, sales training and management, advocacy work, and fundraising. Her experience includes pharmaceuticals, home infusion therapy, outpatient facility management, managed care contracting, physician practice marketing consulting and behavioral health. Karen’s passion is in improving access to care and is an advocate for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders. She has served on several boards, led statewide petition efforts, lobbied members of Congress as well as the Virginia General Assembly. In her free time, Karen enjoys volunteering at the Holocaust Museum, helping manage a local non-profit social service agency, serving on theater company board, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Steven and daughter, Madeline, who lives in NYC.
