Joshua David Gray is the DTL House Manager at Sandstone Care Denver Transitional Living, where he brings extensive experience and a deeply humanistic approach to his role. Joshua’s background is robust, with significant expertise in substance abuse, mental health, and employment training fields. He has worked closely with a wide array of community organizations and partners, including Arizona@Works Organizations, GoodWill, and several vocational rehabilitation and justice programs, enhancing his ability to support diverse client needs effectively.
Joshua is certified as a Recovery/Peer Support Specialist (R.S.S), and is also trained in AED, first aid, and bloodborne pathogens. His approach to therapy incorporates Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which he tailors to support individuals in addiction recovery, mental health challenges, incarceration and release programs, and vocational settings.
A core principle of Joshua’s practice is seeing each individual as a human first and a client second. His own life experiences have taught him the importance of empathy and personal growth, which he applies to his work every day. Joshua is dedicated to walking alongside those who are committed to making positive changes in their lives, offering support every step of the way.

Outside of work, Joshua is deeply passionate about his family and his art. He sees family as his greatest passion, providing him with both inspiration and joy.
