Alcohol

The transition between recreational alcohol use and alcohol dependence can be a subtle one. But if you’re finding that you can’t stop drinking when you want to, you may have alcohol dependence.

Marijuana

Similar to alcohol use, smoking or ingesting marijuana has become normalized as a way to relax or take the edge off. When overused, it can make you feel unable to cope with life without using.

Stimulants

A stimulant is any drug that increases your central nervous system activity. Stimulants are used to heighten attention, hyperactivity, and alertness. Abuse of these drugs can lead to a variety of health problems.

Opioids

Opioids are a class of drugs that include synthetic opioids, pain killers, and the illegal drug heroin. These drugs, including prescription medications, are highly addictive.

A Life-Changing Experience at Sandstone Care Ignites New Purpose

Naperville Rehab Program Highlights

We believe that knowledge empowers: the more you know about our treatment, the more confident you’ll feel in your recovery journey. Learn about our treatment philosophy and approach at our drug and alcohol rehab in Naperville, IL below.

Integration into Treatment:
At Sandstone Care, we believe that recovery is a collective journey. Family support provides a strong foundation for healing and contribute to a more holistic and comprehensive approach to treatment.

Family Therapy and Parent Support Groups:
We provide individual therapy and group therapy sessions for families, helping them confront and heal from addiction-related challenges. Our parent support groups offer a dual benefit: they equip families with essential tools for their loved one’s recovery and provide coping strategies for parents, ensuring everyone heals together.

Supporting Recovery:
Families are provided with guidance on best practices to foster a positive, understanding, and drug-free environment at home. By understanding triggers, maintaining open communication, and participating in ongoing therapy, families can be pillars of strength and support.

Staff Qualifications:
Our team comprises licensed clinical and medical professionals with degrees and certifications in alcohol and drug addiction treatment, counseling, and related fields. Their expertise ensures that every patient receives the highest standard of care.

Training for Unique Challenges:
Understanding the distinct challenges faced by teens and young adults is crucial. Our staff undergoes specialized training to address these unique needs, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.

Ongoing Professional Development:
At Sandstone Care, learning never stops. Our team regularly participates in professional development programs, ensuring they’re updated with the latest in addiction science and therapy techniques.

Comprehensive Discharge Planning:
From the moment you start treatment with us, we’re already planning your successful transition back into daily life. We collaborate closely with you, building a detailed discharge plan tailored to your needs. This includes setting up follow-up appointments, connecting you with community resources, and providing a clear roadmap for sustained recovery.

Alumni Programs:
Our young adult alumni community is active and supportive. Their regular meet-ups and support group sessions offer a space to share experiences, navigate challenges, and celebrate milestones together.

Transitioning Back to Daily Life:
As you continue with work or school post-treatment, challenges may arise. Through treatment, you’ve gained the essential tools to overcome these challenges and nurture healthy relationships. While these are considered tools for life, we understand that life is hard, so we’re always here to support and guide you whenever you need.

While it is our job to educate you on available treatment services, we also recognize that not all situations call for medication-assisted treatment. Our medical team will evaluate your circumstances and determine what type of treatment is appropriate for you. We do not force you into any treatment.

Understanding MAT:
MAT thoughtfully combines behavioral therapy and medications, offering a well-rounded approach to addiction treatment. It’s a proven method to increase the chances of recovery, especially for opioid and alcohol use disorders; addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction.

Integration with Other Therapies:
At Sandstone Care, MAT is just one component of a holistic treatment plan. It’s seamlessly integrated with behavioral therapies, counseling, and other interventions to ensure a comprehensive approach to recovery.

Addressing Concerns:
We recognize that you might have questions or concerns about MAT. Our dedicated team is here to provide clarity, dispel any misconceptions, and offer the information you need. We’re committed to helping you make informed decisions that feel right for you.

Our Clients Experience Reduced Levels of Anxiety and Depression

At Sandstone Care, we know disorders like anxiety and depression can have a profound impact on one’s ability to enjoy life. That’s why our treatment programming addresses both addiction and mental health challenges.

In a recent study of people who completed treatment with us, the group reported a 57% decrease in anxiety symptoms. The same group also experienced a 78% decrease in symptoms of depression.

These are life changing numbers for our alumni. And for those experiencing addiction, they can be the difference between relapse and lasting recovery.

PHP vs. IOP: Choosing Your Level of Care

At our Naperville drug rehab we offer both Day Treatment (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), that provide teens and young adults with life-changing substance use treatment while they live at home.

If you would benefit from more frequent care, for example if you are transitioning out of an inpatient program, we recommend our Day Treatment program. You’ll receive treatment interventions several times a week, including therapy, medication management, and educational support.

Our IOP provides the same comprehensive care 1-2 times each week, allowing more flexibility for your work and school responsibilities. Everyone’s journey to recovery is unique, and we tailor each program to address your specific needs and goals.
