Sandstone Care Is Now In-Network With Cigna and Humana

We’re excited to announce that we’re now in-network with Cigna and Humana. By going in-network, families with Cigna or Humana insurance plans will have a lower out-of-pocket cost for the same excellent care we provide.

It’s our desire to provide high quality care that is also accessible and affordable to families of teens and young adults who are struggling with drug and alcohol use and mental health concerns. That’s why Sandstone Care accepts most insurance plans with out-of-network (PPO) benefits, and pursues going in-network with insurance providers.

What’s the difference between in-network and out-of-network

Each health plan has a “network” of health care providers. Receiving treatment from a provider who is in-network with your insurance plan means your copay will be less than that of an out-of-network provider. Depending on your plan, you may get a percentage of coverage (or none at all) for seeing an out-of-network provider.
